Huebsch Announced as 2022 Paragon Economic Impact Award Recipient

Huebsch, local, independent work uniform, floor mat, and
facility supplies provider, has been announced as the 2022 Paragon Award
recipient to recognize their positive impact on the economy in Eau Claire
County.
Huebsch is an industrial laundry founded in
1891 in Eau Claire, WI. They now serve more than 6,000 customers in West
Central Wisconsin and the metropolitan areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN,
with offices in Eau Claire and Eagan, MN.
The leadership team has been
extremely intentional with plans for growth and expansion, investing heavily in
state-of-the-art equipment to allow for greater capacity as their demand
increases. Huebsch also built two large additions onto their Eau Claire plant
to allow room for their physical upgrades.
The Eau Claire Area Economic Development
Corporation is proud to present the 2022 Paragon Economic Impact Award,
sponsored by Royal Credit Union, to a local business that has made an economic
impact to our community. The Paragon
Award is an opportunity to celebrate businesses that support and enhance our
community through a broad range of economic development activities or
initiatives.
Businesses are nominated for the Paragon
Award by their peers within the community and each business is evaluated based
on economic impact. Examples of economic impact included, though not limited
to; creation of quality jobs; recent or
current expansion of existing facility; construction of a new facility; substantial
investment into capital equipment; commitment to continued education and
training of their workforce; innovations in the development of new technologies
and products.
The Paragon
Economic Impact Award will be presented to Jim Vaudreuil, CEO/Owner of Huebsch,
at the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation Annual Luncheon,
February 27, 2023, at Florian Gardens.
